Cacao coconut granola
This is one of my favourite recipes. It's based off a recipe from an old health app that went under.. But I've tweaked it a little. The website was taken down so I can't even link you to anything to show where the original inspiration came from. The smell that wafts through your house when this is baking is amazing!
You'll need
Preheat oven to 125 degrees celsius. Add everything into a mixing bowl and mix thoroughly. Line trays with baking paper and spread evenly. Bake for 30 minutes. Enjoy on its own with your milk of choice, or as a topper for greek yoghurt or your smoothies. |
Banana + cacao smoothie bowl
This is my go=to smoothie base recipe. Super simple and I pretty much always have these ingredients in the house. You can then add in different flavours if you feel like a little something else. The granola is an epic smoothie topper!
You'll need:
Blend the frozen banana, cacao powder, coconut water and ice together until you get the consistency you want. Put straight into a bowl and sprinkle granola on top, along with your organic shredded coconut and gojiberries. Enjoy! |
Basic green smoothie bowl
This one's easy. My go-to easy smoothie base, just with some added green goodies.
You'll need
Blend the baby spinach first with the coconut water, then add in the frozen banana, greens powder and ice cubes. Top with your chosen goodies. |
Cacao blueberry buzz
You'll need
Melt the coconut oil and then mix the cacao powder into it. Grab your mason jar and tip it inside, try to get it all up and down the sides of the jar. Pop the mason jar in the fridge. It shouldn't take long but the cacao mixture will go like 'ice magic' and harden to the outside of the jar. Next blend the frozen banana, frozen blueberries, coconut water and ice, then tip it into the mason jar. Top with frozen blueberries and a sprinkle of organic shredded coconut. Enjoy, as you scrape the cacao off the outside of the glass and into the smoothie mix! |
Banana peanutty smoothie
I'm a sucker for peanut butter! Being able to make my smoothie taste like pb, but be a little heathier = winning!
You'll need:
Blend the frozen banana, coconut water and peanut flour together. Top with gojiberries, organic shredded coconut and chia seeds. |
Strawberry coconut smoothie bowlYou'll need
Blend together the frozen banana, frozen strawberries, coconut water, a big pinch of organic shredded coconut and ice cubes. Top with roasted rolled oats, fresh strawberries and a little organic shredded coconut. |
Berry cacao bomb
You'll need
Blend the frozen banana, frozen blueberries, frozen raspberries, cacao powder, coconut water and ice cubes together. Serve immediately and top with cacao coconut granola. |
